Your Spring Weed Control Visit
What Is This Visit?
This visit focuses on taking care of common broadleaf weeds such as dandelions, chickweed, henbit, etc. We apply a liquid treatment that eliminates these weeds after a few hours, giving you a lush, healthy lawn for the season. You might notice some initial browning of the weeds within a few days which signals that the product is working.
To Make the Service as Effective as Possible
To ensure the product dries completely, please keep pets and people off the lawn for 2 hours after our visit. Weeds will be gone within 10 days of the visit.
Our Next Visit
We will see you in late May/early June to begin your Early Summer Lawn Fertilization and Crabgrass Prevention visit. Please let us know if you have plans!
Most Commonly Asked Questions About This Service
Will this hurt my new grass?
Yes, if you just planted new grass within the past 3-4 weeks, it would stunt the growth of your new immature grass. For this reason, we recommend fall seeding. Please let us know if you have seeded so we can ensure there has been enough time in between.
Why are we still seeing weeds after your previous visit?
The previous visit was a preventative visit to combat crabgrass weeds. This visit is what will take care of those more common weeds like dandelions, chickweed, henbit, etc.
How long should we stay off of the grass?
To ensure the product dries completely, please keep pets and people off the lawn for 2 hours after our visit.
